When you wake up to snow, it seems like the perfect morning to put some chili in the crockpot!

Luckily, I planned ahead the night before. My family had tacos and as I was cooking the ground turkey meat for the tacos, I also browned up an extra package in anticipation of making Crockpot Chili.

For those of you skeptical about cooking with ground turkey instead of ground beef, this is a PERFECT recipe to try because you really can’t taste the difference and it’s so much healthier for you.
Yes, crockpot meals can be quick but I knew I wouldn’t have time in the morning to get everything prepped.

So while I was cooking that taco dinner, I also chopped up an onion, a zucchini, and a cup of sliced mushrooms. The great thing about chili is that it’s so versatile. You can add whatever veggies your family enjoys (carrots, red pepper, etc.) or you can even leave them out of the recipe altogether.

Then all I had to do was combine everything in my crockpot and dinner will be ready when I get home!

By the way, if you have never used crockpot liners, your life will be changed!!! No more scrubbing your crockpot or letting it soak in the sink. They are UH-MAZ-ING!
