Editorial Guidelines

Guest bloggers are always welcome at our site. We love to hear new voices and share different perspectives with our readers. That being said, we do have a few Editorial Guidelines that we ask our guest bloggers to follow.

1). First and foremost, we only accept original content. This means no plagiarism, no reprints, and nothing copied from another source.

2). We also prefer that posts be between 800 and 1,200 words. This gives our writers enough room to share their thoughts while still keeping the post concise and easy to read.

3). Lastly, we ask that posts be submitted as a Word document or in HTML format. This helps us keep everything organized and makes the editing process much smoother.

4). Keep the tone light and approachable. This isn’t the place for hard-hitting investigative journalism; instead, focus on writing pieces that will educate and inform in a way that is easy for the reader to digest.

Chances are, those topics are already outdated. Instead, focus on writing about something unique that will capture your reader’s attention.
