Dieting mistakes
Your expectations are not realistic
I’ve got so many comments asking me how can I lose ten pounds a month or even a week? My simple answer is that you don’t add ten pounds a month. It will probably take you months or even years for the weight to slowly approach. So you will need time to lose weight. Safe and sustainable weight loss is between 1 and 2 pounds per week.
So don’t make unrealistic expectations as you prepare for failure. You will fail if you do not see the results as fast as you expect. If you have lost weight and feel good, but this skill no longer seems to want you, maybe it is time to learn to accept your body and love as it is. This is because at some point your weight will reach a healthy set point and will no longer move. Try to go further than it can be bad. So set realistic and achievable goals.
You lose without caution
It is very important that we understand that our weight changes every day. It can fluctuate up to 5 pounds a day. If you measure in the morning, afternoon, and evening, you probably have three different measurements. This is due to the amount of water in the body. So our body retains fluid from food and drink throughout the day. This will make you feel lighter in the morning and heavier at night. Your weight loss progress should not be measured by weight alone. This is actually the least accurate way to measure your weight loss progress. One can gain muscle and lose weight at the same time. This is more common when you start exercising.
So instead of stepping on a skill and letting this number figure out how well you’re doing, measure your body measurements and find out how well your clothes fit you. If your clothes fit you better, this skill will never work. That means you lose body fat, but you gain muscle, which is a good thing and you don’t have to worry about it.
You eat healthy food
I’m sure you’ve encountered this feeling of innocence so often. Today, many of us have an idea, simply because food is categorized as healthy. It gives us permission to eat as much as we want because hey, it’s good for you and it doesn’t hurt. But what you may not know is that a piece of healthy raw cake can have the same number of calories as a piece of chocolate cake. Just because something is healthy doesn’t mean you can help yourself with too many services and be fooled by the fact that it doesn’t affect your weight loss progress.
It is important to know that even if something is healthy, calories still count. So treat yourself in moderation. You keep doing the same thing. So if you have been on the same routine and losing weight for many months and you have hit a Plateau, then perhaps you just need to take a break, i.e. break from your workout, break from your diet, and just try something completely different. Sleep more, eat more than you’re used to, try new activities and just take it easy. The more stressed out you are about losing weight, the harder it is for you to progress. So instead of just focusing on the end goal, it is very important for you to enjoy the entire journey.
So these were the few dieting mistakes one may have been making and failing to lose weight as targeted!
